What People Know

The Gahal Knights are an order of dragon riders based in the Spires of Gahal. They are renowned across the fragments as elite mercenaries, guardians, and occasionally conquerors. Their services are available to anyone who can afford them and can reach the Perch to negotiate.

Reputation

• Elite. A single Gahal Knight and their dragon can turn the tide of a battle. A squad of them can end a war.
• Unreachable. The spires are only accessible by flight. You don’t visit the Gahal Knights. You send word and hope they answer.

Leadership

They are ruled by Lazziar Venfiel, known as the Umbraslayer and said to have slain the great wyrm Gahal during the Fracturing. The city and order take their name from the slain wyrm. Lazziar is the only monarch they have ever known.
