Jasper Lee Wilkins

Appearance
Late 50s but wears it well — lean, sun-weathered, with deep laugh lines and a salt-and-pepper goatee that he keeps immaculately groomed despite everything else about him being slightly disheveled. Dresses in layered leathers and silks that were clearly expensive about ten years ago. Always has at least three visible knives and one hidden one. Moves like a man half his age when he needs to, but defaults to a lazy, rolling gait. His hands are never still — shuffling a coin, twirling a lockpick, gesturing while he talks.
Who Is He?
Jasper has been a fixture of the mercenary and adventuring scene for over thirty years. He’s been a hired sword, a scout, a con artist, a treasure hunter, a spy, and briefly — very briefly — a pirate. He’s competent at all of them and master of none, which is exactly how he likes it.
He has a reputation as someone who always delivers on a contract but might skim a little off the top. Someone who’ll watch your back in a fight but might forget to mention the ambush he knew about. Someone who’ll buy you a drink and pick your pocket while telling the funniest story you’ve ever heard.
Everyone who’s worked with Jasper has a Jasper story. Most of them end with “…and then the bastard disappeared before we split the gold.”
